Return & Refund Policy

At KATA, we value your confidence in our products. As we are dealing with cosmetic products, special conditions apply to refunds and returns to ensure product safety, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations.
1.Eligibility for Return or Refunds
We will only consider a return or refunds in the following cases:
- The product is delivered in a damaged or defective condition.
- The wrong product was sent to you.
- The product has expired or is unsafe at the time of delivery.
Please note: for hygiene reasons, opened or used items cannot be returned.
2. Conditions for Approval
To be eligible for a refund or replacement:
- Notify us within 48 hours of receiving the parcel.
- Provide proof of purchase (order number and receipt).
- Submit clear photos showing the issue (e.g., damaged packaging, incorrect product, or defect).

Ensure the product is kept sealed, unopened, and in its original packaging (unless defective upon arrival).
3. How to Submit a Return or Refunds Requestย

- Provide your order details, photographs, and a description of the problem.

Our team will review your case and confirm if it is approved.
If your request is accepted, you will be offered either:
- A replacement item (depending on stock availability), or

A refund to your original payment method, processed within 7โ14 business days.
4. Return Shipping
- If the mistake is ours (damaged, defective, or incorrect product), we will cover the return shipping costs.

Requests that do not fall under our responsibility will unfortunately not be accepted.
5. Items That Cannot Be Returned or Refunded
- Products reported more than 48 hours after delivery.
- Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with.
- Discounted or promotional items (unless defective).

Purchases made through unauthorized resellers outside of official KATA sales channels.
6. Important Disclaimer (NPRA Disclaimer)
As required by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (NPRA), please note:
- Product notification is not a guarantee of safety, quality, or effectiveness.
- Refunds will not be provided for dissatisfaction due to subjective results, as skincare outcomes vary from person to person.
